This finely crafted quill pen is usually made from the feather of a crow, raven, or, less commonly, from a magical creature such as a hippogryph, couatl, or angel. It has a gilded tip inscribed with faint labyrithine tracery.
When balanced on it's point on a horizontal surface, the pen's magics conjure a small writing desk. The feather remains as a quill. The desk comes complete with a full inkpot and 2+1d4 pages of paper, papyrus, or parchment. While the desk, ink, and pen vanish in an hour, the pages and any ink applied to them remain permanently and are non magical. (Unless, of course, they have other magical properties unrelated to the token.)
The type and number of pages and variety of ink are selected at the time of the token's crafting by it's creator. These materials must be provided during the crafting and can be of any type, even that suitable for magical usage. Any extra or special pages or ink increase the price of the token.
