Domain Transfer Instructions for Register.com

Start:

1. Go to Register.com.

2. Click on Sign In under Manage My Account.

3. Enter in your username, password and domain name and then click on Sign In.

4. Click on Domain Name Servers (DNS) under Account Management.

5. Click in the Delete box to delete the current nameservers.

6. In the third box down type the following: ns1.gis.net

7. In the fourth box down type the following: ns2.gis.net

8. Click on "Yes" below to confirm the changes.

9. An email will be sent to the email address they have on file for you. There will be a hyperlink in the email. Click on the hyperlink. This will open a web page showing the changes you want to make. Click on "Yes" again at the bottom.
